What Apricus is actually about
Apricus built its name on solar hot water and evacuated tube collectors over the past 20-odd years, and brought that cylinder know-how across to heat pumps. The current All-In-One is a monobloc — compressor on top of the tank, one unit, one install.
The APHP-R290-260 runs propane (R290) with a 400 g charge, posts a COP of 4.13 at 20°C ambient and sits at 43 dB, which is quiet enough for a tight suburban block. The 1.8 kW element takes it to 70°C on Boost.
The real drawcard is the warranty: 6 years parts AND labour on the whole system, which very few brands at this price will put in writing. Smart touch screen controller with the free Smart Life app rounds it out.
