What Emerald is actually about
Emerald Energy is an Australian renewables brand that builds hot water heat pumps alongside solar and storage gear, so the units are designed from the outset to be told what to do by your roof rather than by a timer.
The range splits into two: the All-In-One Select is the value pick at 58 L/h recharge and 50 dB(A), while the All-In-One Pro adds an inverter DC compressor, a diamond-enamel carbon steel tank, 49 dB(A) running and a 108 L/h boost recharge on top of a longer warranty.
Everything in the all-in-one range runs R290 — global warming potential of 3, against roughly 1,430 for the older R134a gas still used elsewhere — and the E models add an integrated electric element so the unit keeps making hot water down to -15°C.
