A no-fuss swap that just gets on with it
Engineered by Aquatech Solar Technologies in Australia, the X-series runs R290, a GMCC Toshiba rotary compressor and a Blue Diamond enamel tank with an impressed-current anode — so there's no anode rod to swap out down the track. Suits big households or an old 315–400L electric tank

Factory default. Heat pump only, element never fires — cheapest way to run it day to day.
Higher trigger temp so a cycle is more likely to land inside your solar or off-peak window.
Heat pump to 60°C, element lifts the last 5°C. One cycle a day covers a small-to-medium house.
Stores the most hot water in a single daytime run — the pick for solar homes with big usage.
Element only. A stopgap if the heat pump needs a service — pricey to run, so don't leave it there.
R290 natural refrigerant
Global warming potential of 3, next to nothing. No synthetic gas phase-down hanging over it down the track.
Wi-Fi controller & app
Tuya-based app on the LCD controller — set modes, timers and target temp from the couch or the pub.
Impressed current anode
Non-sacrificial anode powered by the unit, so there's no anode rod to replace every few years. Handles soft and hard water.
Straight electric swap
The X6 drops into an electric 250L footprint and the X8 into a 400L — usually no new slab, no re-plumbing gymnastics.

Timer windows default to 9am–6pm so the unit heats on your rooftop solar instead of buying peak power.
