Powerbay Gen II Inverter
Inverter smarts without the premium price tag
The Gen II runs an AI-controlled inverter compressor, so it ramps output to suit the house instead of banging on and off. 2.65 kW of heat from just 0.56 kW of power — a COP of 4.73 — on 340 g of R290 natural refrigerant. Microchannel exchanger wrapped around an enamel-lined tank, IPX4 rated, and it keeps pulling heat from the air down to -7°C.
Three operating modes
- Standard mode
- The factory default. Heat pump runs first, then the element finishes the job once the compressor hits its limit. Set and forget for most homes.
- Eco mode
- Heat pump only — the element stays out of it. Cheapest way to run the tank, and the pick if you've got solar heating during the day.
- Hybrid mode
- Heat pump and element together for the quickest recovery. Handy for a full house or a cold snap. Reverts to Standard after 24 hours.
